Liberia for Peace (LFP)
Mission:
Liberia for Peace is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development in Liberia. We work towards creating a society where individuals and communities can thrive, free from violence and poverty.
Areas of Focus:
1. Peace: We promote peacebuilding and conflict resolution initiatives to foster a culture of tolerance, understanding, and non-violence. Our peace programs include community-based conflict resolution, mediation, and advocacy for human rights.
2. Youth Capacity Building: We empower young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to become leaders and change-makers in their communities. Our youth programs include training, mentorship, and education in areas such as leadership, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement.
3. Health: We work to improve access to healthcare services, particularly for vulnerable populations such as women and children. Our health programs include healthcare training, maternal and child health services, and advocacy for health rights.
4. Agriculture: We support sustainable agriculture initiatives that promote food security, economic empowerment, and environmental conservation. Our agriculture programs include training, farm inputs, and market access for smallholder farmers.
